GRAPEVINE, Texas - Crews battled a large fire at the Silver Lake Marina on Lake Grapevine. The fire department was called to the marina just before 1:30 p.m. Large plumes of smoke could be seen in the area around the lake. Four boats had significant damage and six others had minor to moderate damage.

One person was hurt and at least 10 boats were damaged when a fire broke out Sunday afternoon at Silver Lake Marina in Grapevine, sending a huge plume of black smoke billowing into the air. The blaze was extinguished after several area fire departments were called to assist, authorities said.
