A lot of categories are up in the air for this year’s Academy Awards, but there’s a clear frontrunner in the “host” race. Deadline reports that the Academy has approached “Deadpool & Wolverine” duo Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman to take on some hosting duties at the 97th annual Academy Awards.

Ryan Reynolds has celebrated Hugh Jackman's 56th birthday with a perfect Deadpool and Wolverine callback. "I hope we get to do this til we’re 90," Reynolds wrote on Instagram, a reference to Deadpool and Wolverine's fourth-wall-breaking joke that suggested Disney would continue to wheel the Australian actor out as Wolverine for decades to come.
