Industry analysts say that while AMD's new GPU series is an improvement, it is still behind Nvidia's Blackwell.

Despite underperformance for AMD shares this year and major outperformance for Nvidia shares, a Bernstein analyst said he’d rather get in front of the Blackwell launch than AMD’s latest announcements.

AMD continues to make excellent progress on the hardware and software front for advancing AI. However, AMD’s performance claims are unrealistic since they again did not use Nvidia’s optimization software. Nonetheless, the MI325 is fast and boasts a huge amount of HBM3E (288GB).
