Activision confirms an important change that's on the way for Call of Duty HQ in the lead-up to the Black Ops 6 launch.

Activision says the goal for Black Ops 6 is to catch and remove cheaters within one hour of them being in their first match. From there, the publisher says it's monitoring the progress internally and building technology to drive this number even further down.

The Call of Duty HQ interface is going through a complete overhaul soon, letting players finally launch the game and mode they want without needing to jump through hoops.

People love to complain about how long Call of Duty campaigns are even though most people never finish them and just play the multiplayer deathmatch meat grinder instead. Black Ops 6 isn't even out yet, but of course we're getting possible info on the next CoD. According to the latest rumor, 2025's Call of Duty will be another Black Ops game, but will be a sequel to 2012's Black Ops 2.
