Google is rumored to launch its next Pixel A series handset, the Google Pixel 9a, slightly earlier than usual, but that is still months away. However, leaks have already started pouring in about Google’s next budget Android handset.

The publication then claims the Pixel 9a's rumored 48MP primary sensor is the same one Google gave the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The company's foldable successor offers a 1/2-inch primary sensor with an f /1.7 aperture, OIS+EIS, and an 82-degree wide-angle view.

The leak comes to us from Android Headlines, who report that Google will put a 48-megapixel primary sensor in the main camera in next year's Pixel 9a. If true, this would be a significant downgrade from the Pixel 8a, which runs a 64MP primary camera.
