Apple TV+ spy drama Slow Horses, based on the Mick Herron novels, is coming back for at least two more seasons (#s 5 and 6).

Slow Horses” is Apple TV+’s Clydesdale. The streaming service has given the Gary Oldman-led spy drama an early Season 6 renewal, which means the reliable workhorse of a show is likely to become Apple TV+’s first series to run for more than five seasons.

Slow Horses just had its season 4 finale last week, which lived up to all other past seasons, to be sure, but there’s news now that season 5 has already finished production. Yes, finished production in an era when many shows many not even start production for many months after a show has ended.
